Dilansir KompasTekno dari GSMArena, Jumat (5/8/2022), desain yang diadopsi oleh Oppo Reno8 Z 5G tidak jauh berbeda dengan Reno 8 series lainnya. Namun, spesifikasi tentang dimensi dan bobot smartphone masih belum diinformasikan lebih lanjut.
Beralih ke sektor hardware, ponsel ini ditenagai oleh chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, dengan satu varian kombinasi RAM dan penyimpanan, yaitu 8/128 GB.
Daya ponsel ini ditopang oleh baterai berkapasitas 4.500 mAh disertai fitur fast charging 33 watt. Pre-order Oppo Reno 8 Z 5G sudah bisa dilakukan sejak kemarin, Kamis (4/8/2022) sampai minggu depan, tepatnya 14 Agustus 2022. Mengingat syarat penjualan ponsel di Tanah Air adalah lolos sertifikat TKDN, kemungkinan besar perangkat tersebut bakal segera hadir ke Indonesia dalam waktu dekat.

Chipset ini merupakan SoC Qualcomm untuk smartphone kelas menengah yang telah mendukung konektivitas 5G. Sementara klaster efisiensinya diperkuat enam Kyro 660 silver dengan mikroarsitektur asli Cortex A55 (2,0 GHz). Layarnya telah memiliki resolusi Full HD Plus (1080 x 2400 piksel) yang telah dilengkapi dengan sistem keamanan pemindai sidik jari atau fingerprint di bawah layar.Di bagian depan, terdapat satu kamera dengan desain punch hole yang diletakkan di atas kiri layar. Pre-order Oppo Reno 8 Z 5G sudah bisa dilakukan sejak Kamis (4/8/2022) sampai 14 Agustus 2022.Belum ada konfirmasi dari Oppo soal kehadiran ponsel ini di Indonesia, namun smartphone ini sendiri sudah terdaftar di situs Kemenperin dan mengantongi sertifikat Tingkat Kandungan Dalam Negeri (TKN) P3DN.
